A line dancing weekend in Eastbourne. A great weekend away! Many returning dancers and we were delighted to welcome some friends from the new classes. As usual improver and intermediate dancers learned the latest dances, while the beginners had special classes of their own. Families of the dancers enjoyed good food and time by the seaside then joined us for the socials in the evening!

See our photos below.

Our 6th Birthday Party!

1st Steps Linedance celebrated its 6th birthday in November 2007, and what a great party we all enjoyed together. Scroll down to see yet another yummy cake, the centre-piece of a magnificent buffet. Luckily for our waist-lines we could burn off the calories with lots of dancing to great music, and, as always, something for all levels of dancer.

Stephanie, Vince and Fliss could hardly believe the time had flown by so quickly - nor how successful the classes had been.

From small beginnings there are now 300+ dancers per week enjoying 1st Steps classes. Proof that the formula is working!

Stephanie’s Surprise Birthday Party! You could have heard a pin drop as she walked through the door!

No-one thought we'd get away with organising a surprise birthday party for Stephanie, right under her nose! But the look on her face when she came through the door showed - we did it. A fabulous evening with Texas Tornadoes, lots of party food - and, as always, great fun dancing.

See the pictures below.

We returned from The Cumberland Hotel in Eastbourne after what was described by one of our dancers, as a 3-day party.

May Bank Holiday 2007
You can see the photos from our weekend away below.
Our Linedance holidays in Eastbourne are our own event but are open to all, therefore our dancers and teachers can choose the dances we wish to do, making the holiday tailor made. The hotel is excellent, the rooms well appointed, the food brilliant and the Socials each evening are fun from beginning to end. Even at the socials we had run throughs of the dances and we call the steps for each dance, which helps to keep people on the dance floor having fun.

Do give me a ring if there is anything you would like to discuss.

Best wishes,

Stephanie, Vince & Felicity.
